Timetable - Module Delivery Model
Notes |
|
1 |
In this example, the delivery requirements for the module consist of a lecture, two seminars and a tutorial. The figures used are not meant to indicate 'normal' class sizes, but merely to illustrate a principle.
The lecture is delivered to the whole cohort (100 students) at once.
Each seminar is delivered to groups of up to 25 students at a time, and will therefore have 4 class groups.
The tutorial is delivered to groups of up to 10 students at a time, and will therefore have 10 class groups. |
2 |
Each student taking this module would therefore attend the lecture, one group from each seminar and one group from the tutorial.
|
3 |
Where a class is split into groups (as in the seminars and tutorial above), students are normally allocated to a specific group and, depending on their other commitments, may not be free to attend a different one. |
