Hospitality AssuredWhat is Hospitality Assured?Hospitality Assured is the standard for service and business excellence specifically for the hospitality industry. It takes into account customer opinion and considers all aspects of service from the customers' point of view. It is an ongoing process that provides a series of performance standards against which an organisation can judge and measure itself. Why do we need it?Because we want to improve our standards and services to our customers. With the ever increasing competition between Universities, not just locally but nationally and even internationally, we need to put our University on the map by providing students and visitors the standard of service and business excellence that will exceed their expectations. Many Universities across the country already have HA in various services from meetings and conferences to catering and residential services. Campus Services has the opportunity to move forwards with our competitors. If we get left behind there will be no selling power, thus from a marketing point of view no additional benefit to students and visitors in coming to the University of Exeter. With Hospitality Assured Accreditation we could promote these standards through all University of Exeter campus outlets. What does it mean for us?
